Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) is organising the first mixed expedition of the season to Mt Tinchinkhang (6010 M) Gyalsing District, Sikkim from 1st-21st May 2024.
On 2nd May 2024, Mr Rajiv Rai, Administrator, Indian Himalayan Centre for Adventure and Eco-Tourism (IHCAE), Chemchey flagged off the expedition team from the institute complex. Ms. Shanti Rai, an IMF member from Sikkim along with instructors of IHCAE were also present at the flag-off ceremony.
To promote and encourage young mountaineers of the North Eastern Region, IMF has collaborated on this expedition with IHCAE. IMF is the apex National body for Mountaineering and Allied Sports. It supports, promotes and regulates national and international climbing in India and is affiliated to the International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation (UIAA). IMF is also the regulatory body for the competitive Olympic Sport of SPORT CLIMBING and is affiliated with the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC).

4. Ms Neaha Rai - Sikkim
5. Ms Radha Khatri - Nursing Assistant, Sikkim
6. Mr Maro Meto - Arunachal Pradesh
7. Mr Lalruatdika - Mizoram
8. Mr Yierhevitso Vakha - Nagaland
9. Mr Biplab Das - Tripura
