Namchi, 11 August (IPR): The first semi finals of the 73rd Independence Day Women’s Open Football Tournament was held at Singithang playground in Namchi today.

Chief guest for the occasion was Confidential Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Bikash Basnett, ADC (South), Shri Satyan K. Pradhan, along with various other dignitaries.

The maiden semi final match was played between Gangtok Girls versus Soreng Football Academy wherein Gangtok girls won with a scoreline of 3-0.
