Nischal’s Smart Solutions, Hyderabad Offer Portable Labs For 4 Model Schools of Sikkim under CSR

Gangtok, November 29, 2020: Sri Nischal Narayanam, the owner of Nischal's Smart Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd, based in Hyderabad, today called upon the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim Sri Prem Singh Tamang at Mintokgang together with the Hon’ble Minister for Education Sri Kunga Nima Lepcha and Additional Chief Secretary Sri GP Upadhyaya. Sri Nischal is a prodigy who has created two Guinness Records for memory mapping and completed his double post-graduation at the age of 18 and is also the youngest Chartered Accountant in the country. The Hon’ble Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to Sri Nischal Narayanam and thanked him for having provided the four upcoming model schools of Sikkim with portable labs for Mathematics and Science subjects. The Hon’ble Chief Minister also expressed his happiness to meet such a prodigy and that he would like such labs to be set up in all Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools of Sikkim.
Earlier today, setting up of Microscale and Portable Labs was launched in West Point Senior Secondary School by Shri Kunga Nima Lepcha, Hon'ble Minister for Education, LR&DM, Law and Sports and Youth Affairs Departments. West Point Senior Secondary School is one of the four schools in Sikkim being developed as a model school.
Shri Bhim Thatal, the State Project Director (Samagra Shiksha) welcomed the dignitaries. He also mentioned that the Samagra Shiksha would be collaborating with the Nischal's Smart Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd. for setting up such laboratories for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in all the Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools of Sikkim. Shri GP Upadhyaya, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department gave a brief note about the labs. He also mentioned that requisition for these laboratories will be placed in the Project Approval Board of the Samagra Shiksha for inclusion in Annual Work Plan and Budget so that the entire funding required for such laboratories can be met from the central funding. Mr Nischal Narayanam, the founder and mentor of the company gave a presentation and demonstrated the lab materials. Addressing the event, the Hon’ble Minister Sri Kunga Nima Lepcha expressed his gratitude to Sri Nischal Narayanam for having provided all the four model schools with such laboratories. He further mentioned that the State of Sikkim has a long way to go further towards improving upon the learning of Mathematics and Science subjects and supports from Sri Nischal would certainly help us achieve our goal.
This microscale lab consists of laboratory apparatus and materials for Physics, Chemistry and Biology for classes 6 to 10 and Mathematics for classes 1 to 10. The total value of the lab materials for all the four schools is ₹ 20 lakhs which have been provided free of cost under the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative of the of Nischal’s Smart Learning Solution. The lab is designed with the idea of Kinaesthetic Learning which is learning by doing. The speciality of this lab is it is portable and it needs a space of only 9 square feet area. The materials are eco-friendly. The laboratory manuals supplied have pictures which are mapped with Augmented Reality, that is by scanning the picture the 3-dimensional picture will pop up with detailed instructions. These labs will surely change the mindset of students towards learning Mathematics and Science and the teachers will find it interesting to clear the concepts. These labs will be set up in other three model schools of the State viz; Namthang SSS, Hee-Gyathang SSS and Chota Samdong SSS.
