The Hon'ble Governor Shri Ganga Prasad Ji called on a meeting at Raj Bhawan to review the current status of COVID-19 in the State.
We apprised the Hon'ble Governor about our preparedness for the vaccination process from the 16th of January. We informed him about the conclusion of dry runs, utilization of standard logistics for transportation, and the 35 cold chains throughout the State for safely storing the vaccines at a regulated temperature.
We also informed him about the completion of the training for the vaccinators and the registration process for the first phase comprising health workers and frontline warriors. We also mentioned that the vaccination centers will operate according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
The Hon'ble Governor extended his best wishes to the entire team involved in the vaccination process and wished for a swift and successful process.
Hon'ble Health Minister, Chief Secretary, DGP, Pr. Secretary(Health), DG/Secretary(Health) were also present in the meeting.
