17th Feb 2020: (IPR),The Indira Gandhi National Open University ( IGNOU), Gangtok successfully conducted 33rd Convocation programme held here at RaapJyor Caveri Hall, 5th Mile Tadong today.

The Convocation programme was held simultaneously in selected thirty nine Regional Centres throughout the country.
The programme was graced by Centre Head, G. B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development, Gangtok, Dr. Rajesh Joshi as the Guest of Honour. He was accompanied by Regional Director, IGNOU Gangtok, Dr. Yonah Bhutia and Registrar, Sikkim University, Shri T.K. Kaul.

Total students receiving Degree Certificate from Regional Centre Gangtok during the 33rd Convocation is 1,031 students which contains 402 Master Degrees, 461 Bachelor Degrees, 95 Diplomas and 75 Certificate Degrees.
