GANGTOK, September 18 (IPR):
A delegation led by Mr. Sanjay Rai, International Awardee in Model United Nations along with Dr. Manoj Rai, Mrs. Srijana Rai and Mr. Mohan Kumar Rai called on Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang at his official residence, Mintokgang today.
During the meeting, Chief Minister along side Madam Krishna Rai unveiled the official logo and mascot for Sikkim Youth Convention 2023.
The Chief Minster in the last meeting had assured the support and guidance to organise a first of its kind convention where national level educationists would be invited as guests to motivate the youths.
Mr. Sanjay Rai also presented the official mascot for the SYC23 which is a blue duke butterfly reading a book with a wide smile. The name of the mascot is "Luna" which means Moon in latin language. The name is a tribute to the ISRO scientists who worked diligently to make Chandrayaan-3 a successful mission.
Sikkim Youth Convention 2023 is scheduled to be organised on 16th and 17th October, 2023 at Manan Kendra
