13 May, Mangan(IPR): A meeting on Bharat Mala Project was held in Rangma Range, North Sikkim, at the 86 RCC GREF office.
Numerous public complaints and demands were placed and Minister of Roads and Bridges Department, Shri. Samdup Lepcha paid a visit and inspected the GREF. He mentioned that he would work to meet the public's demands as soon as possible. Land compensation, demarcation, proper road grading, and safeguarding the public property near roads and road protection walls were among the demands.
The Bharatmala Pariyojana is an Indian government-sponsored and funded road and highway project.
Patch repairs that fall under GREF are to be completed as soon as possible with the proper mechanism, and the minister briefed the Officer Commanding of GREF, and Engineers to begin the solutions as soon as possible.
The site was visited by the SDM, CLC President Lachen Mangan, and the Panchayat.
