MASS JHORA CLEANLINESS DRIVE WITH COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION ON 02/06/2022
In with accordance to advisory Notice issued by The Secretary, Urban Development Department vide No. 323/UDD/Secy Dated: 21/03/2022, and for pre-preparedness concerning Monsoon Disaster mitigation in the ULB, Mangan Nagar Panchayat has started a week-long mass JHORA CLEANLINESS DRIVE with community participation at all 5 wards of the Nagar Panchayat.
At the start of the same, Today on 02/06/2022, a mass jhora cleanliness drive was carried out by MNP with huge community Participation under Ringzing Namgyal Marg Ward.
Hon'ble ward Councillor Shri Hangu Lachenpa, leading the cleanliness drive had a presence in full wherein participation from the local public of the ward, Business community members, and Bayul SHG, in general, showed their open and active participation in the Cleanliness drive.
This comes from the involvement of the community first in making our surroundings Swachh & clean by self participation and taking up responsibility as a better citizen.
Mangan Nagar Panchyat would like to thank all the Public, responsible citizens, Bayul SHg members, RN Marg Ward Youths, and Business community members engaged in today’s cleanliness drive.
Further, to take the event ahead, Mangan Nagar Panchayat led at the forefront by its respected Councillors, will be conducting a Mass Jhora Cleanliness drive in the remaining 4 wards i. e Pentok Ward, Power Colony Ward, Upper Mangan Bazaar & Lower Mangan Bazaar within a week.
