E-office launched at DAC Mangan

Mangan, February 06(IPR): The District Administrative Centre, in collaboration with the Information Technology Department, launched the e-Office in Mangan, today. The initiative aims to digitise office operations, ensuring more efficient, transparent and paperless workflow.
The event was attended by DC Mr Anant Jain (IAS), Mr Pema Wangchen Narkarpa ADC, IT Consultant Mr Devendra Ratnaparkhi, along with officials and staff from the IT Department. Also present were Mr Umesh Thapa (AO), Mr Wangchuk Bhutia (Accountant), Mr Muksam Limboo (AD), Ms Karma Chumpe Wangyal (OS), Mr Anant Rai (RO), Mr H.B. Thapa (RO), Mr Gopal Pariyar (RI) and staff from the Land Revenue Department.
The e-Office at the DAC was officially launched by District Collector, Mangan.
During the event, DC and Mr Devendra Ratnaparkhi conducted a detailed presentation on e-Office, highlighting its key features, benefits and implementation process. They explained how the system enhances efficiency, transparency and workflow management within the administration. The attendees were given insights into the functionalities of e-Office, including digital file management, real-time tracking and secure communication, emphasising its role in promoting a paperless and streamlined working environment.
DC said that, “The implementation of the e-office marks a significant step towards a more digital and efficient administration. This system will reduce paperwork, enhance accountability and streamline processes for improved governance.”
With the launch of e-Office, the District Administrative Centre aims to improve efficiency, minimise delays and promote a fully digitised working environment, ultimately benefiting both government officials and the public.
