Gangtok,November 12 (IPR): Meeting was called by the Department of Tourism and Civil Aviation at Denzong Shrangilla Hotel, Development Area. The meeting was chaired by ACS Tourism and Civil Aviation Department Dr. K. Jaykumar, IAS on conceptualizing the Film and TV Industry’s spurt in the State. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of Film Federation of India (FFI) Shri Firdaus Hasan, M.D. Temi Tea Miss Mrinalini Srivastava, Head of Priya Entertainment Private Limited, Shri Arijit Dutta, Shri Kailash Agarwal from Chamber of Commerce, Shri Bishal Khawas, Deputy Director, IPR and representatives from the film fraternity of Sikkim.
In-order to bring about the holistic development in the Film Industry of Sikkim, matters relating to establishment of Film & Television Institute, Miniplexes, organization of Film Festivals and establishment of Project Office were discussed and endorsed for putting up the proposal to the Government.
Temi Tea is coordinating support in documentation and sponsor propagation while Denzong Shangrila is the hospitality partner, Accelerator Pvt. Ltd. as the event management support and Sikkim Chronicle is the media support partner.
