Gangtok, 09 Sept (IPR): ICFAI University, Sikkim organized its 12th convocation at Chintan Bhawan in Gangtok today.

Hon’ble Deputy Speaker, Sikkim Legislative Assembly, Shri Sangay Lepcha, and Hon’ble Minister for Education, Shri Kunga Nima, were present as chief guest on the occasion.

382 Students of the University including the gold and silver medal holders were awarded degrees on the occasion.

The convocation programme also saw the Conferment of D.Litt. (Honoris Causa) to Hon’ble Shri Justice Dipak Mishra, former Chief Justice of India, to Hon’ble Shri Harsh Vardhan Shringla, Indian Ambassador to the United States, to Hon’ble Shri Avinash Rai Khanna, Vice Chairman, Indian Red Cross Society, to Hon’ble Shri Pranab Mukerjee, former President of India.
