A review meeting for preparation of district development plan
14 Feb, Mangan(IPR): A review meeting for preparation of district development plan(DDP) 2022- 2023was held at District Election Hall, Mangan, today.
The programme was chaired by Zilla Adhakshya, Smt. Namday Lepcha and had the presence of Upadhakshya, Shri Thenee Bhutia, DC (North), Shri. Tenzing T. Kaleon, ADC( North) Shri. Sonam Lepcha, DPO/ NDZP, Shri. Karma Thendup, along with the Head of Departments, SIRD faculty members and Zilla Panchayat Members.
The programme began with offering of khadas to the dignitaries and a welcome address by Sr. A. O., Mr. Duk Tshering Bhutia; followed by a brief introductio of DDP by DPO/ NDZP. Shri. Karma Thendup
The chief guest, Adhakshya, Smt. Namday Lepcha, in her speech highlighted the importance of preparing DDP and urged every department to work on preparing departmental wise plans respectively. She stressed that the officials to focus on gram level plans as well.
The Upadhakshya, Shri. Thenee Bhutia, in his speech talked about the importance of documentation of departmental plans for future reference.
The Sachiva, DC(North), Shri. Tenzing T. Kaleon, in his address stressed on the need of various departments to work on making realistic and systematic action plans for holistic development of the district. He urged the officials of various departments to make effort and and work in unison to produce better result and efficient workspace.
A presentation of DDP was also done by faculty member, SIRD & PR, Mr. C.B. Mangar, along with the introduction of the Egramswaraj Portal
