An Inter State Youth Exchange Programme 2024-2025 Sikkim and Jharkhand concludes

Namchi, 27 February(IPR): An Inter State Youth Exchange Programme 2024-2025 ‘Sikkim and Jharkhand’ concluded successfully at the Officers’ Club, today.
The programme was organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Namchi(My Bharat) in collaboration with Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Government of India.
The programme was graced by Mr Ganesh Rai NMC Chairman, accompanied by Ms Sabitri Tamang NMC Vice Chairman, Mr Saran Kalikotey SDM Namchi, Dr Deepak Tiwari Principal Namchi Government College, Mr B S Malick APA NYK Namchi and youths from Jharkhand and Sikkim.
During the programme, Mr Saran Kalikotey SDM Namchi expressed his gratitude to the to the Government of India and applauded NYK Namchi for bringing up programmes to make the youths aware of the diverse culture and heritage of the country . He further extended his best wishes to the team Jharkhand.
Mr B S Malick shared the about the Inter State Youth Exchange Programme which is an initiative launched under the Government of India to encourage the youth to explore themselves and understand the differences and similarities between states.
Additionally, Mr Kul Prasad Chettri Resource Person, also talked about the National Integration and stated that India’s diversity is a strength in itself and programmes of this kind helps in integration of people from different states, fostering unity.
Mr Govind Sharma Resource Person shared insights about the rich culture and heritage of Sikkim including its diverse flora and fauna.
The programme also witnessed experience sharing sessions along with the cultural performances by team Jharkhand.
The programme concluded with the distribution of token of appreciation to the guests by the organising committee.
