CM Meets Bishop Stephen Lepcha, Receives Felicitation
GANGTOK, SEPTEMBER 30 (IPR):
Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay met with Bishop Stephen Lepcha of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Darjeeling, here at his official residence, Mintokgang, today. Bishop Lepcha was accompanied by Fr David Yonjan Rai, Fr Gerard Lepcha, Fr Fintan Moktan, and Architect Sachin Dewan. Minister GT Dhungel, overseeing Culture and Health & Family Welfare Departments, also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, they graciously congratulated and extended their felicitations to the Chief Minister and the Minister on their remarkable achievements. This recognition acknowledged significant milestones, including successful re-election for a second consecutive term and his ranking as the most popular Chief Minister in the Mood of the Nation Survey.
