Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang Meets Union Defence Minister Mr Rajnath Singh
New Delhi, June 24 (IPR) — Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang met with Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at his official residence in New Delhi this evening.
At the outset, Chief Minister congratulated the Defence Minister on his appointment and wished him a successful tenure. He expressed gratitude for the Union Minister's kind words regarding the resounding victory of the SKM party in the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
During the meeting, the Defence Minister assured his support concerning the NH-10 connectivity issues. Additionally, Chief Minister extended an invitation to the Union Minister to visit Sikkim, to which Union Minister expressed his desire to make the visit tentatively in October.
The meeting was also attended by MP (Lok Sabha) Mr Indra Hang Subba, MP (Rajya Sabha) Mr DT Lepcha, Chief Secretary Mr VB Pathak, and Secretary (Chief Minister’s Office) Dr. SD Dhakal.
