Mangan, March 13: The District Administrative Centre (DAC), Mangan, under the initiative Sikkim Inspires, is pleased to announce the launch of “Lights, Camera, Mangan! – The Ultimate Content Creation Challenge.” The initiative aims to promote the rich cultural heritage, natural beauty, and tourism potential of Mangan District through innovative digital storytelling and creative media.
The challenge seeks to engage content creators, filmmakers, photographers, students, and youth in capturing the unique essence of Mangan through compelling visual narratives. Participants will be encouraged to showcase the district’s diverse landscapes, traditions, community life, and tourism experiences, thereby contributing to the digital promotion of the district and the broader region of North Sikkim.
The competition will include the following content formats:
• Reels / Short Form Videos,
• Short Films,
• Music Videos,
• Documentaries,
• Tourism Promotional Videos
Through this initiative, the District Administrative Centre aims to foster creativity among young creators while building a repository of engaging content that highlights the identity and potential of the district.
Participants are encouraged to develop original and authentic content that reflects.
• local culture,
• scenic destinations,
• festivals, traditions,
• adventure tourism,
• inspiring stories from the communities of Mangan.
The initiative also seeks to encourage youth to harness digital media as a tool for innovation, storytelling, and entrepreneurship. Outstanding entries will be recognised and awarded, and selected content may be featured on official platforms for wider outreach and promotion.
The District Administrative Centre, Mangan, invites all aspiring creators to participate in the challenge and contribute to telling the story of Mangan through the power of visual storytelling.
