DAC Upgrades with Advanced Modernised Administrative Systems

Ms Kala Rai, Burtuk MLA cum Advisor, Rural Development Department, inaugurated various modern administrative projects including the Renovated Single Window System along with Beautification Projects of the DAC complex today.
She was warmly received by Mr Tushar Nikhare, District Magistrate Gangtok along with Mr Tenzing Loden, Senior Superintendent of Police Gangtok; Mr Sisum Wangchuk Bhutia, Additional District Magistrate Gangtok; Mr Tshering Norgyal Theengh, Additional District Magistrate (HQ); Mr Girdhari Lal Meena, SDM (HQ) Gangtok, and Mr Mahendra Chettri, SDM Gangtok. Also present were Mr Sonam Gyatso, District Planning Officer, Zilla Panchayat, officers, and staff of the District Administrative Centre.
As part of the event, Ms Rai inaugurated the newly introduced Token Management System, which aims to streamline public service delivery by efficiently managing public work requests. She interacted with the window cell staff, encouraging them to deliver services with dedication and sincerity. During the interaction, the District Magistrate apprised the Area MLA about the system’s functionality, highlighting its focus on user-centric design, operational efficiency, transparency, and workflow optimisation.
Following this, she toured the revamped office complex, which has been adorned with historic photographs of the State and its officials, reflecting Sikkim’s rich legacy. She also inaugurated the newly established offices of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and the Assistant Collector in Gangtok.
Additionally, she launched the Online Leave Management System, a technological initiative designed to revolutionise leave management by transitioning from traditional paper-based processes to a dynamic, digital platform. The system ensures a user-friendly experience for employees while significantly enhancing organisational productivity.
Ms Kala Rai took the opportunity to engage with the DAC officials and congratulated them on implementing such innovative and transformative initiatives. She emphasised the importance of maintaining dedication and teamwork to ensure the continued success of these systems, which aim to benefit both the public and the administration.
