DC Namchi conducts meetings with the members and representatives of Siddheswar Dham Trust
Namchi, July 10(IPR): Ms. Anupa Tamling, DC cum Chairperson, Siddheshwar Dham Trust chaired a meeting with the Dham Administration and representatives of various organisations under Namchi District today.
The meeting had the presence of Mr. Gopal K. Chettri SDM(HQ), Mr. Saran Kalikotey SDM(Namchi), Mr Narad Mani Sharma Administrator, Sidheswar Dham, Mr Kapil Mani Khanal, Chief Priest, Sr. Supervisor, Security Officer and representatives of various NGOs.
The objectives of the meeting were to discuss and prepare the action plan for the observance of ‘Srawan Parva', which is commencing from 16th July till 12th August.
During the Meeting, the DC directed the Administration to take up the cleaning of the pilgrimage site and other preparatory works for the observance of Sawan Month at the Siddheshwar Dham. She informed that during this month devotees from different parts of the country and neighbouring countries will visit the pilgrimage site. She also advised to make arrangements for purified drinking water facilities, medical assistance booth cum medical screening camp, and zero waste management and urged to deploy volunteers for the convenience of devotees.
It was informed during the meeting that Bhandara for the visiting devotees will be organised every Monday starting from 22nd July, for which various organisations will volunteer as follows:
•22nd July - Chautara Sangh and others
•29th July -Khas Sangh, Laliguras Samaj, Ghurpisey and others
•5 August - Kasturi Pariwar, Mandir Dara, Bazar Committee, Gharelu Samaj & Purano Namchi
•12 August - Namchi Singithang Samaj, Skill Development Campus and others.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from the Trust Administration.
