DLRC Meeting Reviews Financial Progress and Addresses Key Issues in Pakyong
Pakyong, September 30 (IPR):
The seventh District Consultative Committee (DCC) and District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting, chaired by Mr Rohan Agawane IAS, DC Pakyong, convened at DAC Pakyong today.
The meeting commenced with a follow-up on action points from previous sessions. Key discussions centred around crucial topics such as the overall Credit-Deposit Ratio of the district, the 2024-25 annual credit plan (quarter ending June 30, 2024), and the assessment of achievements across various sectors, including Agriculture, MSMEs, and other priority and non-priority sectors.
Also, progress updates were provided on the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), the issuance and renewal of Kisan Credit Cards (KCC) across Pakyong District branches, and the status of Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
The meeting highlighted accomplishments in the housing sector, educational loans, and insights gained from the Financial Literacy and Credit Counselling (FLCC) campaign and Bankers' Committee meetings (BLBC), focusing on areas for enhanced performance and business growth.
During the meeting, DC Pakyong called for greater efforts in expanding the Financial Literacy and Credit Counselling (FLCC) campaign to benefit more locals and improve their financial knowledge. He urged the stakeholders to promptly address the key issues raised during the meeting, ensuring effective and timely resolutions.
