Gyalshing district convenes meeting for the upcoming ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign
Gyalshing, December 19 (IPR) : A coordination meeting for the upcoming ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign was held today at 12:00 PM in the Chamber of the District Collector, Gyalshing.
The meeting is a part of the preparations for Sushasan Saptah "Good Governance Week" 2024, was chaired by Ms Yishey D Yongda, District Collector, Gyalshing.
Key officials from various departments attended the meeting, including Ms Rajani Sharma, ADC(HQ), Mr Suresh Rai ADC-Gyalshing, Mr Narad M Cintury Additional Director Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Mr Rajesh K Thapa JD/Education, and Dr Nim Norbu Bhutia DMS District Hospital Gyalshing, along with other departmental officials.
The ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign, scheduled to run from December 19 to December 24, 2024, aims to promote good governance through active community participation at the block levels. Special camps and events will be organized to address public grievances and improve service delivery.
Addressing the meeting, District Collector emphasized the importance of the campaign in strengthening government-public engagement. She highlighted key initiatives already undertaken in Gyalshing District.
Additionally, directives were issued to all Heads of Offices (HoOs), for dissemination of the information to BACs and GPU level, Primary Health Centers (PHCs) and Veterinary Centers during the campaign period for ensuring doorstep delivery of services, fostering innovative practices in governance and guaranteeing that the benefits of government schemes effectively reach the grassroots level. Officials were also instructed to raise awareness about the various services provided by the government and administration. District Collector instructed the AD-IT to ensure that photographs, videos and updates on the campaign are promptly uploaded to the official Good Governance Week portal at http://darpgapps.nic.in/GGW24.
The meeting concluded with directives for all departments to submit daily progress reports, including photographs, for uploading on the ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ web portal. Special emphasis will be placed on documenting and sharing best practices in good governance across the district.
