Kamrang Secondary School Celebrates 50 Glorious Years of Excellence in Education

Kamrang Secondary School marked a significant milestone today with the grand celebration of its Golden Jubilee. The event, held at the school playground, was a curtain-raiser to commemorate fifty years of educational excellence.
The occasion was graced by Minister for Urban Development and Food and Civil Supplie Departments Mr Bhoj Raj Rai as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by distinguished guests, including Mr. Upendra Rai, Block Development Officer (BDO) Namchi, Mr. Suraj Rai, CEO of the Education Department, Ms. Priya Lama, Headmistress of Kamrang Secondary School, Panchayat members, school staff, and other esteemed members of the community.
In his address, Mr Bhoj Raj Rai expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the school’s Golden Jubilee celebrations, congratulating the faculty, students, and staff.
He acknowledged Kamrang Secondary School's pivotal role in shaping numerous success stories over the years and underscored its importance as a long-standing institution in the region.
He highlighted how the school has fostered a strong sense of belonging within the local community. He also emphasized the critical role of education in shaping society, encouraging parents to continue enrolling their children in the school to ensure a brighter future for the next generation.
Furthermore, he urged both educators and parents to nurture students' talents beyond academics, helping them realise their potential in diverse fields.
He concluded his speech by applauding the dedication and hard work of the staff and members involved in the event’s organisation and assured full support for the people of the Poklok-Kamrang Constituency.
Ms Priya Lama, Headmistress of Kamrang Secondary School, delivered a comprehensive address, reflecting on the remarkable journey of the institution. She acknowledged the school’s immense contribution to the community and its significant impact on regional development over the past fifty years.
Further, she praised the commitment and dedication of the school's staff members, who have been integral to the institution's success. She expressed her gratitude for their unwavering efforts in fostering a conducive learning environment that has propelled Kamrang Secondary School to the forefront of educational excellence.
She also extended her congratulations to the students and educators for their hard work, which has helped the school stand out as one of the best in the region. Her speech was a celebration of the past achievements and a call for continued progress in the years to come.
The event featured a vibrant programme, including dance performances, sports activities, and an exciting exhibition football match between Kamrang School and Kamrang Veterans
Students who had excelled academically were honoured with meritorious awards presented by the Chief Guest, alongside special guests who were also recognised with tokens of appreciation.
