Total New Covid-19 Positive Cases Reported till 8am of 5.8.2020= 17.
Out of 827samples tested on RTPCR, 14 samples tested positive.
Likewise, out of 112 samples tested on Rapid Antigen Testing, 3 samples tested positive.
Breakup of Test Results on RTPCR:
1 case from Flu clinic STNM, an employee of Sun Pharma II, Ranipool (Adampool).
6 cases (returnees)from a facility quarantine centre.
7 positive cases reported from employees of Pharmaceutical company located in South District (2 from Rangpo IBM, 2 Majhitar and 3 Mamring)
It was reported that all the samples from
Rhenock SSB, Rongli Chujachen Covid Care, Sang PHC, District Hospital Singtam, and Rongli have tested negative on RTPCR.
Breakup of Rapid Antigen Testing:
Rangpo - 2 returnees and 1 secondary contact of a Rangpo case tested positive for Covid-19.
Total Active Cases = 496.
Total Cured & Discharged = 303.
Total Deaths = 1.
Cumulative Total = 800.
