Scrutiny of documents gets underway under Pakyong District
Pakyong, 20 April (IPR): The scrutiny of Form 17A, along with other documents was carried out in the presence of Mr Pradeep Kumar IAS, General Observer; Mr Tashi Chophel District Election Officer cum DC Pakyong; Ms Anupa Tamling, ADC Pakyong; Mr Tenzing Loden Lepcha, Sr SP Pakyong along with representatives from various political parties.
The entire process was conducted in the auditorium of Dikling Senior Secondary School.
During the meeting, the Returning Officers explained the criteria and scrutiny process to the representatives of the political parties.
The documents of all five Assembly Constituencies were thoroughly scrutinised and none of the polling stations were found to have major errors or discrepancies. Hence, no case was found fit to recommend any re-poll in any of the polling stations.
