Shri Nityanand Rai arrives in Gangtok district today
Gangtok, January 9 (IPR):
Shri Nityanand Rai, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Government of India, arrived today at the 13 Bn Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Camp in Lingdum, Rumtek, Gangtok.
The Minister is on a three-day visit to Sikkim, from January 9th to January 11th, 2025. During his stay, he will visit several locations in Gangtok district, including the ITBP post at Sherethang and Nathula. He is also scheduled to hold discussions with state officials on various matters at the Tashiling Secretariat.
Additionally, his itinerary includes a visit to Pakyong, where he will participate in a review meeting and interact with state and district officials.
On his arrival, Shri Nityanand Rai was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer (CO) of ITBP and the DGP of ITBP.
