Sikkim ULB Team Embarks on Intensive Waste Management Training in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, 01 August (IPR): A team from various Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of Sikkim under SBM (Urban), Urban Development Department, Govt of Sikkim is on a journey to enhance their knowledge and skills in waste management in Hyderabad.
The team includes Presidents, Councillors, and Municipal Executive Officers (MEOs) representing Singtam, Rangpo, and Geyzing Nagar Panchayat.
Their current endeavour involves participating in a meticulously curated three-day intensive training programme focused on waste management.
Hosted by the Engineering Staff College of India, Hyderabad, this training programme aims to equip the Sikkim ULB team with the latest strategies, techniques, and best practices for managing waste effectively and sustainably.
Throughout the training, participants will engage in interactive sessions, workshops, and hands-on activities designed to deepen their understanding of waste management concepts and frameworks.
By immersing themselves in this immersive learning experience, the team members are poised to gain valuable insights and practical skills that they can apply to their respective ULBs back in Sikkim.
