Successful Shifting of Polled EVMs from Strong Room to Warehouse
Gyalshing, August 28 (IPR): The shifting of polled Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) from the strong room at Girls Senior Secondary School, Kyongsa, to the warehouse in Kyongsa was successfully completed today in Gyalshing District.
Following the successful completion of the General Election 2024, the polled EVMs under Gyalshing District were securely sealed in the designated strong room. In accordance with the guidelines of the Election Commission of India, the total EVMs are now being shifted to the warehouse.
The process was overseen by Ms. Rajani Sharma ADC(HQ), Mr. Suresh Rai ADC(Gyalshing), Mr. Agni Pd. Chettri Dy. Secretary (Election) in presence of representatives from political parties. The entire operation was carried out smoothly and successfully.
