Two-Day Vendor Development Program Begins in Namchi
Namchi, February 13 (IPR):
A two-day Vendor Development Program (VDP) seminar, exhibition and buyer-seller meet commenced in Namchi, today.
The event was organised by the MSME, Development & Facilitation Office (DFO), Gangtok, under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, in association with the Small Industrial Development Bank of India (SIDBI).
Mr. Satish Chandra Rai MLA 11 Namchi-Singhithang, attended the inaugural session as the chief guest.
He visited the exhibition stall cum buyer-seller meet set up in the central park and interacted with vendors and buyers, discussing various aspects of the MSME sector and business opportunities.
Earlier, he participated in a seminar at the Officers Club, Namchi, along with Ms. Tirsang Tamang, ADC Namchi, Mr Nirmal Choudhury, MSME-DFO representative, Mr. Banajit Huzuri SIDBI CIP Consultant and other attendees.
