9th Annual General Meeting of Boxing Federation of India (BF1) was held on 12th May, 2024 at Gurugram, Haryana. Shri Jaslal Pradhan, President and Dr. R. B. Biswakarma, General Secretary of Sikkim Amateur Boxing Association was attended the meeting.

Pradhar who is also a Chairman for the Coaches Commission and Vice President of BFI presented a brief report and Memento of 6th Youth Men National Championships that was held in the month of June, 2023 and Khele India University Ashtalakshmi Men Boxing Games which was funded by the SAl and organized by the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Govt. of Sikkim, held in the month of February, 2024 to the President of BFI, Shri Ajay Singh. Shri Ajay Singhji wholeheartedly accepted the token of love on behalf of the State Govt. and expressed his sincere gratitude to the Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri. Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) for providing 100% financial supports for hosting the 6th Youth Men National Boxing Championships at Sikkim in a grand manner.
The House has also appreciated the vision of Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) for the establishment of Jaslal Pradhan Boxing Academy which is considered as a unique example to Honour the Past Champions Athletes.
Further, the House has unanimously accepted the proposal to recommend the Pasmashree Award to Shri Jaslal Prashan for his long time associated with the BFl and his remarkable contributions as a player, coach and also an administrator for the promotion of Boxing activities in India.
During open discussion, undersigned has placed a proposal regarding combined training, coaches develooment activities for the North East States and have a professional Boxing league in line of ISL, IPL etc, and same has been discussed in the meeting. Dr. R. B. Biswakarma.
