**Raj Bhavan, Sikkim Welcomes Hon’ble Governor Designate**
Raj Bhavan, Sikkim, extends a warm welcome to Shri Om Prakash Mathur, the Hon’ble Governor-Designate of Sikkim. Hailing from Rajasthan, he is set to be sworn in as the 18th Governor of Sikkim on July 31, 2024, at Raj Bhavan, Gangtok.
Upon his arrival at Raj Bhavan, he was warmly received by Shri J.D. Bhutia, Secretary to the Hon'ble Governor, Shri Khemraj Bhattarai, Additional Secretary to the Hon'ble Governor, and other officers and staff from Raj Bhavan.
Earlier, the Hon’ble Governor Designate was accorded a Guard of Honour by the 13th Battalion ITBP.
He was accompanied by Shri Sanjay Sharma, Hon'ble Minister of Rajasthan; Shri Dharam Narayan Joshi, MLA; Shri V. B. Pathak, Chief Secretary, Government of Sikkim; Shri A.K. Singh, DGP Sikkim; ACS Home Shri R. Telang; DC Gangtok District Shri Tushar G. Nikhare; SP Gangtok District Shri Tenzing Loden Lepcha; Shri Mahesh Gagda, Former HM Chhattisgarh; and Shri Akhilesh Mishra, PA to the Hon'ble Governor.
