Sanchaman Limboo Government College, Aarigoan, Gyalshing achieves B+ Grade Accreditation

Aarigoan, Gyalshing–Sanchaman Limboo Government College (SMLGC) proudly announced its recent accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a CGPA of 2.65, earning a commendable B+ grade. This significant improvement from the previous C grade awarded during the first cycle of assessment underscores the college's commitment to enhancing the quality of education, particularly for underprivileged students in the region.
The NAAC, an autonomous entity under the University Grants Commission (UGC), conducts performance evaluation, assessment, and accreditation to foster quality improvement in higher education institutions. The current accreditation status is granted for a period of five years, marking a promising advancement for SMLGC.
In light of this achievement, the SMLGC family expressed gratitude to the Government of Sikkim for providing state-of-the-art infrastructure to experience modern ICT-enabled classrooms for the students. The college also acknowledged the supervision of the Directorate of Higher Education, District Administrative Centre, Gyalshing, Education Deptt Gyalshing, Sikkim University, Gangtok for their constant guidance and support. The college also appreciates the contribution of all stakeholders, Alumni Association for their unwavering assistance throughout the accreditation process.
