Coordination Meeting on HCM Mentorship Programme for Class X Board Exams 2024 Held at PM SHRI Soreng Sr. Secondary School
Soreng, November 19: A crucial coordination meeting regarding the Chief Minister's Mentorship Programme for the upcoming Class X Board Exams was convened today at PM SHRI Soreng Sr. Secondary School. The meeting aimed to strategize efforts to achieve a 100% pass rate for the Class X examinations scheduled for 2024.
The meeting was chaired by Principal Director Shri Sonam Denzongpa, who emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in enhancing student performance. He was joined by key officials including Shri L.D. Sharma, Chief Education Officer, Education Department, Soreng; Shri Thupden Bhutia, Additional Director, Samagra Shiksha; and Shri S.P. Sharma, Joint Director, Education Department, Soreng, along with block-level officers.
Heads of institutions from senior secondary schools, secondary schools, and junior high schools were present, contributing to a comprehensive dialogue on the various challenges faced in preparing students for their board examinations.
The discussions centered on identifying obstacles that hinder student performance and brainstorming effective strategies to overcome them. Key topics included enhancing mentorship initiatives, providing additional academic support, and implementing targeted interventions for students requiring extra help.
Shri Sonam Denzongpa reiterated the commitment of the Education Department to ensure that all students receive the necessary guidance and resources to excel in their examinations. The meeting concluded with a collective resolve among the participants to work diligently towards achieving the goal of a 100% result in the upcoming Class X Board Exams.
