Farm School on Integrated Organic Farming System inaugurated at Regu Block
Pakyong, December 23:
Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Pakyong officially inaugurated the Farm School on Integrated Organic Farming System at Dalapchand with Mr Mahendra Rai appointed as the Farm School Teacher.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by a distinguished group of guests, including the Panchayat Vice President of Dalapchand GPU, Ms Kamal Kri Sharma, Dr Prena Baraily, Deputy Director, AH&VS; Mr Karma P Lepcha, HDO; Mr Passang Shrpa, ADO; Mr Yogesh Sharma, BO Fisheries and all the field staff from the Horticulture, Agriculture, and Animal Husbandry departments of Regu Block.
The event was coordinated by Mrs Durga Sharma, MA Dalapchen GPU, Mr Dhan Raj Chettri, Circle Incharge Dalapchen GPU, and Mr Saiman Manger, ATM Regu Block.
The opening of the Farm School marks a significant step toward promoting integrated organic farming practices in the region. The overall program was deemed highly fruitful, with the gathering expressing optimism for the positive impact of the school on local farming communities.
