The plenary session of the 85th All India Presiding Officers Conference continued for it’s second and concluding day on 21st January, 2025 on the subject 75th Anniversary of Constitution: Contribution of Parliament and State Legislative Bodies in Strengthening
Constitutional Values and was participated by Presiding Officers of state legislatures of Indian Union.
The Valedictory Session of the 85th Conference of Presiding Officers' was attended and addressed by the Governor of Bihar, Shri Arif Mohammed Khan, Lok Sabha Speaker, Shri Om Birla, Deputy Chairman Rajya Sabha, Shri Harivansh, Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha, Chairman of Bihar Legislative Council, Shri Awadhesh Narayan Singh, Speaker, Bihar Legislative Assembly, Shri Nand Kishore Yadav, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Bihar, Shri Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Deputy Chairman of Bihar Legislative Council, Professor Ramvachan Rai, Shri Mingma Norbu Sherpa, Hon’ble Speaker accompanied by Shri Lalit Kumar Gurung, Secretary, Shri Karma Tsh. Gyatso Bhutia, Principal Director and Shri Dawa Gyatso Sherpa, Joint Secretary Sikkim Legislative Assembly also visited Bodh Gaya as a part of Post Conference study tour.
Later in the evening, Shri Mingma Norbu Sherpa, Hon’ble Speaker, Sikkim Legislative Assembly also called on Former Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Ganga Prasad at his residence Bailey Road, Patna and extended the greetings and best wishes.
