Under the vision of Hon'ble Chief Minister of Sikkim Shri. Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) to make " Addiction free Sikkim and mentally healthy Sikkim" and under the guidance of Shri. Aditya Golay Area MLA Soreng Chakung Constituency and Shri Rohit Raj Gurung (Chief Resource Person Sarathi Organization and Hon'ble Advisor to Hon'ble Chief Minister Government of Sikkim). Three days long Training of teachers under Soreng District on the module of SARATHI 1.0 (Supported by Titan Co Ltd) completed on 9th February 2025 .Total 28 teachers( 1 male, 1 female) from following Senior Secondary Schools under Soreng District have been selected for the training.

On day one of the training following topics were covered namely:
1. Ice breaking session conducted by Ram Chandra Regmi and Tila Rupa Chettri.
2. Situation Analysis
3. Introduction to SARATHI 1.0 and SARATHI club by Shri. Bishal Sharm
4. Session by Ms. Pramila Sharma (Master Trainer Health and wellness,CBSE& Expression India) on topic Life skill, Happy learning, Inclusive Education, Managing Class room Behaviour effectively.
Second day of training following topics were covered namely:
1. Group activity
2. Session by Dr. Rajiv Gurung (MBBS, MD psychiatry, District Nodal Officer, District Hospital Gyalshing) on topic Addiction and Mental Health.
Final day of training program was marked by engaging and vibrant session where teachers whole heartily participated in following capacity.
Meditation and heart fullness session by Ms. Lakpa Doma Dukpa (Govt.Senior Secondary School kaluk). Skit presentation by all teachers on the topic(Parental addiction and Sarathi club will Address the issue, Mobile addiction and how Sarathi Club will address this issue, Mental Health issues and how Sarathi Club will address this issue).Song by Shri. Yadu Ram Sharma (Govt Senior Secondary School Gelling), Experience sharing 1st day by Shri. Sangay Tshering Sherpa (Govt. Senior Secondary School Sombaria), Poem recitation by Shri. C.L Sharma (Govt Senior Secondary School Chakung), Poem Recitation by shri. Roshan rai (Govt Senior Secondary School Tharpu),Song by shri. Pratik Thapa (Govt Senior Secondary School khanisirbong), Poem Rectiation by Priya Gurung (Govt Senior Secondary School Chakung), Expirence sharing 2nd day by Shri. Nirmal Sharma (Govt. Senoir Secondary School Bariakhop), Poem Recitation by Miss. Mamta manger (Govt Senior Secondary School khanisirbong),Motivation speech by Shri. Bhanu Sharma (Kripasalyan Senior Secondary School Daramdin),
The event the presence of following guests Shri.Paru Hang Subba BDO Soreng, Shri, Santa Gurung SHO Soreng, Shri. Govin Dhakal (AEO Education Department Soreng).
The successful completion of this training is a significant step toward the broader goal of creating a healthier, addiction free Sikkim, and fostering mental well being in the region.
