FIRST MEETING WITH THE DISTRIBUTORS OF SHHDC LTD.
DHH, Zero Point, Gangtok, Sikkim

Mr. Tshering Topgay Bhutia, Director, DHH met with the distributors of SHHDC Ltd. which included NGO’s /SHG’s/individual artisans and Government firms for the first time in his capacity as CEO of SHHDC Ltd., a sister concern of DHH at his chamber at Zero Point.
The meeting was attended by Shri Tshering Dorjee Bhutia, Addl. Director, Shri D. K. Rai, Joint Director, Mrs. Kumari Chettri, Joint Director, Mrs. Gita Gurung, Deputy Secretary, Shri Lakpa Dorjee Bhutia (Trade of Bamboo), Ms. Prabha Chettri (Sikkim Seasoning), Ms. Selina Wangchuk Lepcha (File Folder Distributor), Shri Tashi Dorjee Lepcha (Bamboo and Wood Products), Shri Birbal Rai (Trade of Thanka), Ms. Tika Devi Sharma (Aroma Sikkim), Shri Richard Rai (Edwin Arts & Crafts), Shri Narendra Kr. Rai, (AGM, Sikkim Supreme) Ms. Prena Rai (Dhaka Handloom).
The meeting’s primary goal was to meet the real men who makes the traditional Sikkimese handicrafts that serve a keepsake in every home and identify the ethnicity of the people who make them. Every distributor was urged to put out their best effort as their skills crafted with love and care would denote the State of Sikkim. The distributors conveyed their appreciation for the prompt payments and stated that having SHHDC Ltd, as their market gives them a lift in morale.
The meeting concluded with a decision to conduct quarterly meets so as to review sales performance, identify areas for improvement and discuss strategies for reaching goals, ultimately leading to improved product, sales and stronger partnership.
