Gyalshing, March 28:The District Administrative Centre (DAC), Gyalshing, successfully conducted a one-day PS5 football tournament at Experiential Learning Centre, Pelling today. A total of 23 participants from different places, including Gyalshing, Jorethang, and Soreng, took part in the tournament.
Mr. Pulkit (IAS), Sub-Divisional Magistrate(HQ), also participated in the event. The winner of the tournament was Mr. Yoel Mazi from Jorethang, while the runner-up was Mr. Pema Sherpa from Soreng.
Certificates and prizes were distributed by Mr. Suresh Rai, Additional District Magistrate, Gyalshing. The staff of the Information Technology Section, DAC, Gyalshing, along with the staff of NIC and the proprietor of M/S Reeboot, played a significant role in the successful conduct of the tournament.
The Experiential Learning Centre was inaugurated on January 3, 2024. It comprises Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), Augmented Reality (AR), A Driving Simulator, Holoworld and 25-seater 3D hall.
