PRESS RELEASE FROM ADMINISTRATIVE TRAINING INSTITUTE (ATI), GANGTOK

A three weeks intensive Foundation Training Programme for 2024 batch of Lower Division Clerks (LDCs) commenced at Administrative Training Institute (ATI). The initiative aims to equip the newly inducted LDCs with essential administrative skill and knowledge.
Director, ATI, Shri Mahesh Sharma, welcomed the participants and while addressing the 1st batch of 50 (fifty) LDCs congratulated them and emphasized the importance of dedication and efficiency of team work in public service. He further shared the significance of this Foundation Training Programme and conveyed that it will equip the direct recruits in handling matters pertaining to administration with ease.
The training programme shall cover topics like SGS Rules, 1974, SGE Rules, 1974, SGS(Leave) Rules, 1982, SGS(Conduct) Rules, 1981, SGS (Discipline & Appeal) Rules, 1985, Sikkim Financial Rules & Basic Accounting Rules & Procedures, SGS (Pension) Rules, Manual of Office Procedures, RTI Act, 2005 etc.
The event concluded with vote of thanks by Deputy Secretary, ATI, Shri Chabilal Sharma.
