Secretary Food & Civil Supplies visits Food Godowns under Gyalshing District
Gyalshing, April 10:Mr Anil Raj Rai IAS Secretary Food & Civil Supplies Department accompanied by Mr Arjun Rai DCSO-cum- Jt Director (Gyalshing),Mr Paljor Namgyal Bhutia Assistant Engineer,Mr Pravin Gurung Junior Engineers, Mr Deepesh Gurung and Mr Roshan Gurung, visited Heegoan and Dentam Food Godowns,today.
During the visit Secretary took the note of work quality of Heegoan Food godown which is at the verge of completion. Upon physical inspection,expressed his satisfaction on the work being executed. He directed the contractor and the Engineers to ensure that the remaining work is completed within the month of April to enable the department to stock rice in new godown in a scientific manner. The godown officials were directed to take up cleanliness in and outside of godown on regular basis and beautification of vacant premises by planting flowering and fruit bearing plants.
In his later visit to Dentam foodgodown, checked the quality of rice and stressed on the need to stock in a scientific manner.
Further,officials were directed to adhere with the office timing of arrival and departure and shoulder every assigned responsibly in an apt manner.
