Today in Gangtok Got Talent program held in Gangtok, Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim Mr. Om Prakash Mathur took place. During this time, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Sikkim Mr. Prem Singh Tamang was also present.
The event was organized by the Gangtok District Administration in collaboration with 'Star of Hope', which provides a big platform for youth to showcase their art and skills.
The program was organized under important campaigns such as 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' and 'Drug Free Bharat Abhiyan', aimed at spreading awareness in society and inspiring youth.
In his address, the Hon'ble Governor said, "Sikkim, known for its natural beauty and cultural richness, such platforms not only encourage talents but also communicate positive energy in society." Also, he praised the Nukkad drama that such events should be organized in every street of Sikkim to lead Sikkim into addiction.
The Hon'ble Governor inspiring the youth said, "It is essential to encourage our children in the field of sports and arts." This will give life meaningful direction with their physical and mental health benefits.
The participants of the event gave their captivating presentations in different fields of art.
Hon'ble Governor has appreciated all the participants and described them as inspiration and role models for the society as well as congratulated Districtpal,Gangtok, Mr. Tushar Nikhare and District Administration team for the event.
During this time, Honorable Area MLA of Gangtok, Mr. Diley Namgyal Barfumpa, MLAs, Mayor Councilor higher officials and public community were present.
