Mrs. MaryGold Lucksom ( Bazaar Officer) delivered the speech with a strong message giving emphasis with a quote “No matter the work/job is small - Rather it is utmost important role that the labour play in building the state and should feel important and be proud for the job/work assigned”.
Today, on the occasion of Labour Day, we come together to recognize and celebrate the immeasurable contributions of our labour force—the heart and hands behind every development in our society.
Labour Day is not just a date on the calendar. It is a day of honour. A day to remember the courage, endurance, and commitment of those who have built, and continue to build, our communities from the ground up.
In our urban and bazaar areas, the role of labour is vital. From maintaining roads and bridges to ensuring essential services such as health care, sanitation, and public safety, their contribution is both visible and invisible—yet always essential.
They are builders of a livable and thriving society.
It is our responsibility to ensure that these workers are cared for:
By providing accident compensation and access to medical facilities.
By facilitating benefits like the ABHA card, Ration card, and other welfare schemes and by encouraging safety practices such as wearing gloves, masks, and proper work gear.
Further Mrs. MaryGold Lucksom expresses that;
Above all, she reminds the Safaikarmachari, Plumber, Mali, who were present cum invited for the program and across saying:
No job is small. No effort goes unnoticed. You hold a great hand in supporting the nation.
To every worker here today—stand tall. Your role is crucial, your effort is respected, and your service is beautiful.
Concluding the program with heartfelt appreciation and a song by Mrs. MaryGold Lucksom (B.O) that reflects the spirit of this day—
"अति ही सुंदर" — truly beautiful.
A token of Memento in honour for their service and dedication was presented to every SafaiKarmachari, Plumber and Mali.
Thank you, and Happy Labour Day! 2025.
