Gangtok, May 5: The Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, flagged off the Annual Health Camp from Raj Bhavan today, reaffirming his enduring commitment to the healthcare sector and the well-being of the people of Sikkim. The event holds special significance as it coincides with the golden jubilee celebration of Sikkim’s Statehood.
The comprehensive health camp saw the participation of doctors and specialists from STNM Hospital, CRH Manipal, and Neotia Hospital, Siliguri. The team conducted free check-ups, diagnostics, and consultations, catering to all the public under Rangang Yangang Constituency the wide range of medical needs. Citizens from across the region benefitted from the initiative, which aims to enhance public health awareness and provide timely medical intervention. The camp reflects the collective effort of the government and healthcare institutions to ensure a healthier and more resilient Sikkim which has been the priority of our Honourable Chief Minister of Sikkim Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay).
