Gangtok, May 7(IPR): A meeting was chaired by Chief Administrator and Cabinet Secretary, Mr VB Pathak along with Chief Secretary, R Telang to review the preparations for the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister to Sikkim at the Conference Hall of Tashiling Secretariat, today.
The meeting elaborated detailed deliberations on the security arrangements for the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi to the state. It highlighted the critical need for seamless coordination, meticulous planning, and stringent security protocols. The Chief Administrator cum Cabinet Secretary, Mr V B Pathak, stressed the importance of inter-departmental collaboration to ensure all aspects of the visit proceed smoothly and securely.
The meeting also discussed comprehensive medical preparedness and each assigned department presented an update on their current progress. Additionally, preparations for the State Day celebration on May 16, 2025 were discussed.
Also present were Director General of Police, Mr Akshay Sachdeva, Heads of various departments, and officials from line departments.
