In a fervent commitment to environmental conservation, the State Institute of Capacity Building (SICB) celebrated World Environment Day with a Plantation and Cleanliness Drive.
The event was coordinated by Assistant Director Ms. Kusum Pradhan alongside OS Ms. Lilly Rai. All the dedicated SICB staff, under the guidance of Chief Administrator Shri Bishal Rai took part in it.
The day commenced with a significant awareness session highlighting the importance of World Environment Day and emphasizing the 2025 theme, "Beat Plastic Pollution."
Special acknowledgement is extended to Shri Madan Cintury, Honourable Area MLA cum Advisor Skill Development Department, Govt. of Sikkim, for his invaluable direction and guidance in observing this important day.
This initiative aligns with the State’s 50th Year of Satehood celebration and the Vision of Honourable Chief Minister of Sikkim Shri P.S Tamang Golay of making Sikkim “ Sunoulo Sikkim Samriddha Sikkim and Samartha Sikkim.”
Together, through this celebration, the SICB aims to inspire and encourage everyone to take proactive steps toward a sustainable future.
