Send-Off Ceremony for KIC, Soreng Athlete & Coach Representing Sikkim at the 6th Junior (U-17) Boys & Girls National Boxing Championship.
We are proud to announce that Ms. Kessang Sherpa, a promising young athlete from KIC Soreng, and Mr. Suman Lepcha, a past champion and dedicated coach from KIC Soreng, have been officially flagged off to represent Sikkim State at the prestigious 6th Junior (U-17) Boys & Girls National Boxing Championship.
Their selection by the Sikkim Amateur Boxing Association is a moment of great pride for our community. The championship will take place in Rohtak, Haryana, from 18th to 26th June 2026.
The send-off ceremony was conducted with great enthusiasm and dignity by the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Soreng District, at the KIC Centre, Soreng. The event was graced by several esteemed dignitaries:

We are confident they will showcase exemplary performance and bring glory to our state.
