Soreng, July 17:
The Constituency level Coordination Meeting of all Hon’ble zilla members and Hon’ble panchayats under Rinchenpong Constituency was conducted today at the auditorium hall of Mangalbaria Block Administration Centre (BAC).
The meeting was chaired by Shri Erung Tenzing Lepcha Hon’ble MLA Rinchenpong Constituency cum-Advisor Roads and Bridges Department. The meeting was attended by Hon’ble Zilla Adhakshya Smt Tila Devi Gurung, Hon’ble Zilla Members Shri DK Gurung, Shri Phurba Tashi Bhutia and all hon’ble panchayats of Rinchenpong constituency. The program was also attended by Shri Kumar Subba District Planning Officer (Soreng), OSD (Roads and Bridges) Shri DP Sharma, BDO (Mangalbaria) Shri Mandeep Subba and BDO (Kaluk) Shri Dabgyal Lama and other officials from BACs.
Shri Erung Tenzing Lepcha spoke about the vision of Hon'ble CM for the better development of Rinchenpong Constituency by coordinating and functioning with all line departments and all gram panchayats and zilla panchayats. He also appealed to work together for the better results for Rinchenpong Constituency.
The meeting was started with a welcome address given by BDO Mangalbaria. Mr DP Sharma placed the main agenda of the meeting. Smt Tila Devi Gurung also addressed the meeting where she urged for roles and function of gram panchayat and zilla panchayat for better coordination towards development of Rinchenpong Constituency. There was also open discussion in the meeting where in Hon’ble Panchayats placed their views, grievances and suggestions. They also put various proposal and demands during the open discussion. During discussion, Mr Subba DPO Zilla also stressed on the better coordination between zilla and gram panchayat.
Lastly, Shri Kamal Sharma gave the vote of thanks to the house.
