Sikkim’s First Registered Motorcycle NGO – Dirty Angels Motorcycle Club (DAMC) in presence of Additional Political Secretary (APS) – Spreads Festive Cheer at Lee Aal Old Age Destitute Home
In a heartfelt gesture of compassion and community service, Dirty Angels Motorcycle Club — Sikkim’s first registered motorcycle NGO — celebrated the spirit of Deepawali by donating a washing machine and essential household materials to the Lee Aal Old Age Destitute Home located at Rakdong, Gangtok District today.
The donation program was graced by Shri Tshering Wangchuk Lepcha, Additional Political Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim, who lauded the noble initiative undertaken by the club and encouraged such acts of kindness that promote social harmony and care for the elderly.
The Lee Aal Old Age Destitute Home currently provides shelter and care to 26 senior citizens, supported by 4 dedicated staff members who look after their daily needs and well-being. The gifts presented by Dirty Angels Motorcycle Club aim to bring ease to their daily lives and to share the warmth of the festive season with the residents.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives of the club emphasized their commitment to community service beyond motorcycling, stating that their mission is to use brotherhood and collective passion for a greater cause — to uplift and support the underprivileged sections of society.
This initiative reflects the true essence of Deepawali — the festival of light and compassion, symbolizing the victory of goodness and generosity over indifference.
