Soreng, November 29: An Awareness program on Menstrual Hygiene and management under the banner of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao was held at Okhrey Secondary school today.
The gathering was Briefed on "BETI BACHAU BETI PADAO" initiation of Ministry of WCDD GOI, explained the Theme of 2024 and highlighted the District HUB for women empowerment and One Stop Centre women help line number 181 by Miss Nutan Lepcha DMS. The session on Child help line number 1098 and Child safety and security was conducted by Mr Ashok Rai of CHL.
Likewise, Menstrual Hygiene and the management by CDPO Soreng also demonstrated the Hand washing technique.
The programme concluded with feedback of the students.
