Sikkim: A Leading State in the North-East Region and a Model for Developed India - Hon'ble Governor
In a monumental event held at Paljor Stadium, Gangtok today, the Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, administered oath of office and secrecy to the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), and the Council of Ministers.
Expressing his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the newly formed government, the Hon'ble Governor conveyed his confidence in their ability to drive the state and the country towards greater progress and positive change in all areas.
"Sikkim, the leading state of the North-East region and an exemplary development model for developed India, will establish new dimensions by joining the mainstream of the country," stated the Hon'ble Governor.
The swearing-in ceremony commenced with the chanting of mantras from various religions, highlighting the communal harmony which is the hallmark of Sikkim.
