A 34+1 seater Ashok Leyland AC bus, funded by Chief Minister, Mr Prem Singh Tamang was commissioned on July 9, 2024, at the 1st IRBn Battalion in Wazirabad, New Delhi. During a brief inaugural ceremony, Mr Palden Bhutia, Commandant, 1st IRBn New Delhi, flagged off the bus. The ceremony was attended by officers and all ranks of the Battalion. It is to be mentioned that this is the second such bus purchased within a span of five months by the Chief Minister for the transportation of our jawans at 1st IRBn, New Delhi.
All the officers and jawans of the Battalion expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister, Mr Prem Singh Tamang, for providing all the necessary logistics to the IRBn in New Delhi. These ongoing efforts to enhance operational capabilities significantly contribute to the welfare and efficiency of the personnel.
